MEET THE OWNER

Derreck Jarrett grew up in Western North Carolina. After high school he started his career in the oil and gas industry building natural gas pipelines in multiple states for 14 years. After laboring and gaining supervisor experience he decided to join the Operating Engineers Union. Derreck worked diligently as a mainline operator in TX, CA, IL, MI, PA, OR, WA, ND, MN, WV and continued perfecting the artistry in his trade. After 14 years in the industry, he founded Gritty Earthworks LLC in the great state of Oregon.
